Can Tho University of and Pharmacy (CTUMP) welcomed the Delegation from University of Washington

On 25 May 2015, 02 representatives of the Delegation from University of Washington, U.S.A offered a visit at CTUMP. The Delegation included Professor Nancy Hooyman, Honour Dean of Social Work School; Assoc.Prof. Tracy Harachi, School of Social work and Public health, University of Washington.

Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), represented by Assoc.Prof. Pham Thi Tam, Vice Rector of CTUMP; the representatives of Scientific Research & International Relations Office, Public Health Faculty (Dean Board and Health Organization department), Faculty of Nursing & Medical Technology (Dean Board and Community Nursing department), and Skills lab Unit welcomed the delegation.

Working activities and outcomes:

1. The delegation from University of Washington had an overview presentation about training and practicing social work major in University of Washington, specific capacities of social workers;

2. Discuss on possibilities of combining social work in the curriculum and collaborative scientific research at CTUMP.
