CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY DELEGATION VISITS AND EXCHANGES EXPERIENCES AT UNIVERSITIES IN TORONTO AND VANCOUVER, CANADA
As part of a business and study trip to Canada in early December 2025, a delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), led by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Lam and including heads and deputy heads of various units and departments, visited and worked with several leading Canadian universities, including the University of Guelph, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia (UBC), and Simon Fraser University (SFU). The trip aimed to expand international relations, learn from advanced university governance models, and open new opportunities for cooperation in training and scientific research.

Starting the collaboration journey of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Japan: first stop at Kanazawa University
On December 8, 2025, as part of their working trip to Japan, a delegation of 10 faculty members from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), led by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Tan – Vice Rector – Director of the University Hospital, had their first working day with professors at Kanazawa University – one of Japan's leading educational institutions with a history of nearly 150 years. Kanazawa is not only renowned for its top-quality biomedical training and research but also impresses with its harmonious blend of tradition and modernity in its development philosophy. From the moment they set foot on campus, the members of the delegation felt the serious academic atmosphere, the in-depth research environment, and the friendly and hospitable staff and lecturers. This opening day brought many positive emotions to the delegation and opened up many opportunities for future cooperation.
