CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY PARTICIPATES IN THE PRELIMINARY CONFERENCE ON COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT WITH THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF CAN THO CITY
On June 6th, 2025, at the Hall of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in coordination with the Can Tho City People's Committee, organized a preliminary conference on cooperation for development between the two parties. The conference was co-chaired by Ms. NGUYEN Thi Ngoc Diep – Vice Chairwoman of the Can Tho City People's Committee, and Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien – Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, with the participation of leaders from city departments and sectors, as well as representatives from faculties, offices, and affiliated units of the University.

Fostering Academic Collaboration between Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Ghent University, Belgium
As part of its strategy to expand international cooperation in education, research, and academic exchange, on March 27, 2025, a delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) conducted an official working session with Ghent University – one of the top-ranking institutions in Belgium and Europe. The meeting took place at Ghent University Hospital (Campus UZ Gent), with participation from university leaders, faculty members, and program coordinators from both sides.

On February 11th, 2025, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a working meeting and welcomed the delegation from Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan. The meeting included two sessions: the opening ceremony of the second Master's program in Hospital Management and a discussion session on potential collaboration in nursing training and research.
