SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF FACULTY “APPLICATION OF BIOMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY IN ENDOPHYTIC BACTERIA OF MEDICINAL HERBS”

To provide some initial biomedical techniques for the analysis of common bacteria in microbiology, facilitate access to endophytic bacteria in medicinal herbs, improve scientific research activities and international cooperation, the Medical Laboratory Department organized a faculty-level seminar on the topic of "Application of biomedical technology in endophytic bacteria of medicinal herbs" from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on 28/5/2022 at the Hall of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Technology.
The conference was attended by the report of Prof. PhD. Laberche, lecturer at the University of Picardie Jules Verne Amiens (France); Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Huu Hiep, senior lecturer at Can Tho University; PhD. HUYNH Van Truong, lecturer at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy; PhD. NGUYEN Huu Thanh, lecturer at An Giang University and with an audience of 130 including students of Nursing, Medical Laboratory, Medicine and Pharmacy and lecturers, graduate students with interest in the topic.
Topics in the conference included: Endophytic bacteria of medicinal herbs: new
sources of antibiotics, Plant Biotechnology Production of Therapeutic and
Biopharmaceutical Molecules Obtained with Hairy-roots culture (translated into
Vietnamese), biological activities of endophytic bacteria in lettuce and the
influence of endophytic bacteria in the formation of medicinal substances of herbs. After
nearly four hours of working, the workshop brought knowledge, perspectives and
discussions that gave many practical solutions to help listeners gain a
comprehensive view about the topic.
After
the
serious working session, the Scientific Conference on the
topic
of "Application of biomedical
technology in endophytic bacteria
of medicinal herbs"
organized by the Department of Medical Laboratory was a great success. The
conference had provided a scientific forum for students to acquire more knowledge and
illuminate new research directions for students in Nursing, Medical
Laboratory, Medicine and Pharmacy in the future.
