THE INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF VICE RECTOR OF CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY

The ceremony welcomed members of the CTUMP community and dignitaries who included Mr. NGUYEN Viet Dung – Vice Rector of Can Tho University, Mr. NGUYEN Minh Nghiem - Deputy Director of Can Tho Central General Hospital, Mr. LAM Duc Thanh -Head of Office of Continuing Education, Department of Education of Can Tho City.

Prof. PhD. PHAM Van Linh – Head of the University Council judged highly of the contributions and efforts of Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Van Lam, and expressed his wish that the new Vice Rector would continue to assiduously accompany the University Board, in establishing the position and reputation of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the field of medical personnel education and training.

Assoc. Prof. PhD NGUYEN Trung Kien – Party Committee Secretary, Rector congratulated and assigned duties to Assoc. Prof. PhD NGUYEN Van Lam – new Vice Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Rector hoped that Assoc. Prof. PhD NGUYEN Van Lam and the Party Committee, the University Board, and all staff would make efforts to further build upon achieved milestones, further raise quality of teaching and learning, thoroughly fulfill responsibilities, to satisfy the rising demand in medical personnel education, scientific research and development, protection and improvement of public health in the region.

          Receiving the Decision and speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. PhD NGUYEN Van Lam shown great honor and sent his word of gratitude to the care and attention from University leads and all staff, had been accompanying and trusting to appoint him as Vice Rector. It is a great honor and a large responsibility, as among achievements, the University is facing many difficulties and challenges as well.

Accepting his new role before the collective staff of the University, Prof. PhD NGUYEN Van Lam had also affirmed that under the leadership of the University Council, the Party Committee, and with cooperation among University Board members, and the willpower of all staff of the University, shall continue to effectuate the political mission of the University with highest degree of conscientiousness.
