THE WORKSHOP “DENTAL MATERIALS FROM JAPAN IN THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION"

On February 20th and 21st, 2019, the workshop about “Dental materials from Japan in the fourth industrial revolution" took place at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP). The workshop lasted for two days including one session for meetings, discussion, two sessions for practicing on dental models and clinically.
The event was held successfully with the participation of Assoc. Prof. TRUONG Nhut Khue, Dean of Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP); Assoc. Prof. HOANG Tu Hung, People's Teacher, Former Dean of Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, Vice Rector of University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. TRUONG Van Linh; 24Seven Healthcare Company, Dr. Tadamune Kamemizu, a lecturer from Geriatric Dentistry Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Osaka University, Japan.

The
workshop's attendance also included 16 lecturers from the Odonto-Stomatology
Faculty, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP); 20 dentists; 22 post-graduate students; 185 undergraduate students
from Odonto-Stomatology Faculty at 4th year, 5th year and
6th year.
On
the first day, the workshop focused on discussing the latest updates for dental
materials as well as the latest technology of cosmetic dentistry, specifically
about approaching method and clinical experience. The topic was hosted by
Assoc. Prof. HOANG Tu Hung. The second topic was presented by Dr. Tadamune
Kamemizu about the Denture reline materials DIL and PERI RESINE II which are
used in removable denture.

The second part on the first day, the participants were guided to practice on dental models by Dr. Tadamune Kamemizu and Dr. TRUONG Van Linh.

On the second day,
the workshop focused on Dr. Tadamune Kamemizu and Dr. TRUONG Van Linh's
performance of relining denture clinically.
