WORKSHOP ON "SHARING STUDY-ABROAD EXPERIENCES FOR CTUMPERS IN 2020"

On Saturday, January 11th, 2020, Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office held a workshop on "Sharing study-abroad experiences for CTUMPers 2020" to share experiences in finding scholarships to study abroad for young lecturers, students.

The workshop was conducted under the guidance of the Steering Committee including Assoc.Prof.Dr. NGUYEN Trung Kien - Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. NGUYEN Van Lam - Vice Rector; PhD. NGUYEN Minh Phuong - Vice Rector and organizers from Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office together with more than 100 attendees.

Attending the workshop, there were 7 reporters who had experience in studying abroad to share many useful information, creating opportunities for participants to participate to share knowledge and discuss about study abroad issues such as Assoc.Prof.Dr. PHAM Van Nang, Faculty of Medicine (studied in the Netherlands); Assoc.Prof.Dr. NGUYEN Thi Ngoc Van, Faculty of Pharmacy (studied in South Korea); PhD. NGUYEN Thi Thu Tram, Faculty of Basic Science (studied in France); PhD.  DO Thi Thao, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology (studied in Thailand); M.Sc NGUYEN Thi Ngoc Han, Faculty of Nursing (studied in Thailand); Dr. NGUYEN Tan Dat, Faculty of Public Health (studied in Australia and the Netherlands); Dr. THAI Thi Ngoc Thuy, Faculty of Medicine (studied in the Philippines and Belgium).

The content of the workshop was well-built, with many useful information integrated from the experience of lecturers as the reporters sharing to the whole workshop how to find scholarships to study abroad; sharing experiences of studying abroad in countries of different regions such as: USA, Australia, Europe, Asia,...; how to prepare for master's and PhD’s scholarships and study abroad with different subjects. In addition, the participants were exchanged and answered the difficulties and questions from the reporters, supporting the study abroad plans to have a more suitable vision and orientation in the future.

The second workshop was held successfully, thereby helping to find solutions and improvements in supporting lecturers and students in the process of sharing, exchanging as well as planning to develop for the next workshop conducted with quality content and increasingly consistent with the requirements from the workshop.
