CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY SIGNING A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH VINMEC HEALTHCARE SYSTEM - VINUNI UNIVERSITY

On September 19, 2024, at VinMec International General Hospital, the signing ceremony between Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and VinMec Healthcare System - VinUni University in Hanoi occurred. The ceremony was honored to have the participation of Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Minh Phuong, Chairwoman of the Council of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy; Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien, Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Thanh Tan, Vice Rector/Deputy Director of the Hospital; Dr. LAI Van Nong, Specialist grade II, PhD, Director of the University Hospital; Dr. VO Pham Minh Thu, PhD, Deputy Director of the Hospital/Secretary of the University Council and leaders of units belonging to and affiliated to Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

On behalf of VinMec Healthcare System: Ms. LE Thuy Anh, General Director of VinMec Healthcare System; Representative of VinUni University: Prof. PhD. David Roy BANGSBERG, Principal of VinUni University and all leaders of units under VinMec Healthcare System and VinUni University.

At the ceremony, the two sides officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation in key areas such as training, education; medical examination and treatment; Science and technology; Connecting and developing resources to serve the community. The delegates discussed and proposed many cooperation plans for the near future, opening up many development opportunities for the three parties.

After the signing ceremony, the delegation visited VinMec International General Hospital and VinUni University.
