CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY SIGNS MOU WITH DANUBE PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, AUSTRIA

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Chairwoman of the University Council, Prof. h.c. Marga B. Wagner-Pischel, Dr. Robert Wagner, Prof. Axel R. Pries, Prof. Wolfgang Knoll, along with faculty members and students of DPU.

The meeting took place in a formal atmosphere, focusing on discussions about training programs, scientific research, and teaching cooperation, particularly in the field of Dentistry. Prof. Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized that CTUMP is in a phase of strong development, attracting international students, facilitating faculty exchanges, and enhancing training, scientific research, and patient treatment activities. He also extended a warm welcome to DPU students interested in studying at CTUMP.

Assoc. Prof. Do Thi Thao provided an overview of CTUMP’s development history, training scale, infrastructure, and affiliated hospital. Both parties discussed potential cooperation in dental education and research, as well as the development of preventive and traditional medicine programs.

The delegation also toured the DPU campus, including administrative buildings, lecture halls, and the dental treatment center, which is uniquely located on a mountainside along the Danube River. The campus is equipped with modern facilities and beautifully decorated halls, providing an ideal environment for learning and research.
