Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Rector, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tan – Vice Rector and Director of CTUMP Hospital, presided over the meeting with the delegation from Les Lampions Association, which included:

  1. Dr. Doan Quoc Hoa, Pediatrician – Neonatologist, PhD, University of Montpellier, France, President of Les Lampions Association.
  2. Dr. Jounanneau ép Doan Francoise Yolande Aimée, Pediatrician – Neonatologist, PhD, University of Bordeaux, France.
  3. Mr. Phan Huu Dat – Interpreter.
  4. Ms. Phan Ngoc Diep – Logistics Coordinator.
  5. Ms. Hoang Pham Van Oanh – Representative of Les Lampions Association in Vietnam.

At the beginning of the session, Dr. Doan Quoc Hoa, a member of Les Lampions, introduced the Association and its main activities to all participants.

Both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation in medical education, research, clinical training, and community health. Priority areas include, but are not limited to neonatal resuscitation, perinatal health, improving the quality of pediatric care and treatment. The two parties also agreed to collaborate in interdisciplinary teaching, joint research, faculty and student exchanges, as well as public health initiatives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties officially signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (2025–2027) to affirm their mutual commitment toward sustainable, culturally appropriate improvements in healthcare and education, both in academic settings and community service.
This partnership aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and resources to strengthen the healthcare system, enhance professional capacity building, and improve service quality., enhance professional development capacity and improve service quality.
