Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy welcomed and worked with a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital

On January 8, 2026, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital, led by Assoc. Prof. Truong Quang Dinh – Director, visited Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy to discuss cooperation.
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Lam – Vice Rector, along with representatives from the Faculty of Medicine, the Hospital, the Department of Science and Technology, and the University Office, welcomed the delegation. Representatives from both sides exchanged and discussed directions for cooperation in 2026.
During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Truong Quang stated the purpose of the visit was to discuss and exchange cooperation in scientific and academic research projects with Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Members attending the meeting listened to Dr. Le Chi Hieu – from Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital, introduce the project "Improving the effectiveness of asthma management for children and adolescents at Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital and across the hospital's network in An Giang province," and engaged in lively discussions about the potential for collaborative project implementation.

In concluding the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Lam affirmed that with its capacity, experience, role, and position in the region, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy has effectively implemented many international projects. Therefore, the University is ready to support Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital when the hospital needs it, and will open many new avenues of cooperation between the two units in the future.
Assoc. Prof. Truong Quang Dinh thanked the University for the warm welcome and open discussion and exchange regarding potential cooperation. He also committed to strengthening cooperation with the University in many areas, leading to the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
