On March 3, 2026 Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) held a meeting and working session with Prof. Wei – Chih Lin, Education Counsellor of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, and the head representative of the INTENSE Scholarship Program.

The meeting focused on promoting international cooperation, enhancing multidisciplinary training capacity, and expanding scholarship opportunities for students and faculty members of the university. The meeting's agenda included professional exchange on the mission, development strategy, and key activities of each side; support for training and scholarships in Chinese language and medical fields; strengthen cooperation in scientific research.
