On August 8, 2024, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) was honored to welcome the delegation of the the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City. The meeting aimed to promote educational partnership and scientific research between CTUMP and Universities in Canada.

On August 8, 2024, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) was honored to welcome the delegation of the the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City. The meeting aimed to promote educational partnership and scientific research between CTUMP and Universities in Canada.
Attending the meeting, there were Ms. NGUYEN Thi Cam Tu, Commercial Attaché - Head of Education Group in Vietnam, representing the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City. On behalf of CTUMP, there were Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien - Rector, Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Van Lam - Vice Rector and representatives from Faculties and Departments of CTUMP.
Ms. NGUYEN Thi Cam Tu began the meetingwith an introduction and sharing information about Canadian education .At the same time, CTUMP representative also introduced to the delagation about the University to inform more details and the requirement for collaboration with the Consulate General of Canada in Ho Chi Minh City.

The discussion was lively, focusing on collaborative opportunities between CTUMP and universities in Canada in the fields of teaching, joint training program , lecturers and students exchanging, and scientific research.
The meeting has opened up many new prospects for the development of CTUMP in the fields of education and international scientific research.
