“Preparation for studying abroad” Program

On August 27th, 2022, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy successfully organized an online sharing program with the topic “Preparation for studying abroad” with speakers Ph.D. DANG Phi Cong and Dr. NGUYEN Tu Thai Bao. During the program, speakers delivered sharings about their experience and pieces of advice in orientation for studying oversea to more than 50 lecturers, students, and postgraduates of the University, who are interested in this topic.
The program
welcomed Ph.D. DANG Phi Cong, an alumnus of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy - researcher at NUS University (Singapore) and Dr.
NGUYEN Tu Thai Bao - postgraduate at Taipei Medical University, Taiwan.

In Ph.D. DANG Phi Cong’s speech, there was valuable information including orientation for medical students after graduation, an introduction to biomedicine in the laboratory, steps to apply for scholarships to study abroad, and opportunities to study at the postgraduate level
in clinical or biomedical fields in three countries: Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore; at the same time, he outlined the
conditions required in applying for postgraduate scholarships.

Dr. NGUYEN Tu Thai Bao also shared his personal experience and challenge in the process of applying to Taipei Medical University, Taiwan.
At the end of the meeting, there was an open
exchange in which attendants had an opportunity to ask
various questions related to the journey of studying abroad, then clearly
answered by the guests.
