In the light of celebrating 20 years of establishment of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and in order to improve scientific research activities and international cooperation, the Department of Internal Medicine - Faculty of Medicine organized a webinar with the theme "Update on diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease” from 13:30 to 17:00 on May 27, 2022.

of PhD. MD. NGUYEN Nhu Nghia, Deputy Director of Center of Services and
Training for Societal Demands, lecturer of the Department of Internal Medicine
of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy; PhD. MD. NGUYEN Bach, Head of
Renal - Artificial Kidney Department of Thong Nhat Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City,
and coordinator: MSc. MD. MAI Huynh Ngoc Tan, lecturer of the Department of Internal
Medicine with other lecturers from CTUMP Department of Internal Medicine and more than 100
online attendees via the Zoom platform.
Topics in the scientific
webinar included: Update on diagnosis, treatment of hypertension, heart failure
in chronic kidney disease patients according to KDIGO 2021 and ESC 2021 and
update on diagnosis and treatment of primary glomerulonephritis in adults.
After nearly three hours of serious work, the webinar brought together
knowledge, perspectives and discussions, providing many practical solutions to
clinical situations to help listeners gain a comprehensive viewpoint.
