The Department of Physiology organizes the June Scientific Seminar

With the consent of the Rector Board, the Office of Science – Technology and External Affairs, and the Director Board of the Faculty of Medicine, on June 4th, 2022, the Department of Physiology held a Department-level Scientific Seminar in the form of an oral report at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, including 1 thematic report, 2 overview reports, and 1 research report.
Attending
the seminar were Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Trung Kien -
Rector, Head of Department of Physiology; MSc. MD. PHAM Kieu Anh Tho - Deputy
Head of Office of Undergraduate Training, Lecturer of Department of Physiology;
MSc. MD. NGUYEN Phan Hai Sam, Training Assistant of the Department of Physiology;
along with the teachers lecturers, technicians of the Department of Physiology,
reporters, and participants attended the seminar, with 04 scientific reports. Report 1: Common
difficulties when carrying out scientific research projects of students presented
by MD. NGUYEN Hoang Tin. Report 2: Overview of Holter blood pressure
monitoring and the complications of hypertension presented by student
TRAN Minh Khoi from class YH K45 and associates, instructed by PhD. MD. NGUYEN Hong
Ha. Report 3: Menstrual cycle characteristics in students of the 45th
course, presented by student VI Thuc from class YH K45 and associates,
instructed by MD. NGUYEN Hoang Tin. Report 4: Overview of the role of
licorice (Glycyrrhiza sp.) in modern medicine presented by students NGUYEN
Minh Tien and LE Thi Diem Tien of class K45, instructed by MD. NGUYEN Hoang
Tin. At the seminar, the reports were presented in detail, with clarity, and
scientific quality. Participants and reporters together discussed and exchanged
related content to facilitate students to exchange experiences and consolidate
learned knowledge.

After
nearly 3 hours of work, the Scientific Seminar organized by the Department of
Physiology was a great success, providing a useful scientific space for
students to improve their knowledge and skills in research, promoting
scientific research activities among students. In the following months, the
Department of Physiology continues to promote scientific research activities,
and international cooperation and continues to organize scientific seminars about
the topics gaining the interest of the scientific community.
