Continuing their work program in Japan, the second day of the delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) at the International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) in Japan was filled with important activities and achieved many positive results.

Continuing their work program in Japan, the second day of the delegation from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) at the International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) in Japan was filled with important activities and achieved many positive results.

The CTUMP delegation had the opportunity to visit the SCOPE Simulation Center for Outstanding Professional Education. The SCOPE Center is one of the leading medical education simulation centers in Japan, allowing the delegation to observe firsthand the application of technology in training.

The delegation also toured IUHW Hospital Narita campus, a medical facility highly regarded for its modernity, application of technology, and advanced management model. The delegation directly surveyed key areas such as: the Screening Department, the Diagnostic Imaging Department, the Physiotherapy Department, and the On-Demand Treatment Area. The CTUMP delegation highly appreciated the integrated, modern, and humane design of IUHW's hospital, thereby opening up many valuable references for the hospital-university model at CTUMP in the future.

During the official working session with IUHW leaders and the hospital, both sides had in-depth discussions on many potential areas of cooperation, including: medical student recruitment at IUHW, and faculty and student exchange programs. Academic cooperation and scientific research, especially in cutting-edge specialties, and the potential for technology transfer, implementation of telemedicine and consultations in the fields of Orthopedics, Diagnostic Imaging, and Pathology were discussed. The exchange took place in an open, friendly, and cordial atmosphere, affirming the desire to strengthen sustainable and high-quality cooperation between the two universities.

On the same day, the CTUMP delegation visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan. The Embassy shared much useful information about the study, work, and life of the Vietnamese community in Japan. They also provided important experiences and directions for educational and medical cooperation between Vietnam and Japan. The meeting not only provided deeper insights into the Vietnamese community but also contributed to strengthening the cooperative bridge between CTUMP and Japanese organizations and partners in the future.

The second day of work recorded many positive signs and opened up many new expectations for high-quality training, research, and medical treatment cooperation programs. Initial exchanges with IUHW and support from the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan will be an important foundation for CTUMP to continue developing international cooperation, aiming to improve the quality of medical human resource training and integrate more deeply into the region.
