MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON AND CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY
On April 5th, 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Washington (UW) at a signing ceremony conducted by Dr. Minh Phuong NGUYEN, Vice rector of CTUMP and Prof. Richard Veith, Former Head of Psychiatry Department of UW.

At 3pm, 20 March 2019, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, represented by Assoc.Prof. DAM Van Cuong – Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof. NGUYEN Thi Ngoc Van – Head of Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office; Dr. NGUYEN Thang, Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office, had met and worked with the delegation of Nebraska University, represented by Prof. David S. JACKSON, Dr. Steven T. DUKE, with the attendance of Mr. Robert T. CONNOLLY – Crossroads Association, Viet Nam; Dr. LE Van Lam – Head of International Cooperation Office of Can Tho University. The meeting was successfully completed.

THE WORKSHOP “DENTAL MATERIALS FROM JAPAN IN THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION"
On February 20th and 21st, 2019, the workshop about “Dental materials from Japan in the fourth industrial revolution" took place at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP). The workshop lasted for two days including one session for meetings, discussion, two sessions for practicing on dental models and clinically.

RADIOGRAPHY, RADIATION THERAPY & NUCLEAR MEDICINE PRACTICE COURSE FOR STUDENTS OF NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY (AUSTRALIA) AT CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY (JANUARY 21st – FEBRUARY 1st, 2019)
Upon the project of conjoint Sonography and Radiography training, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Newcastle University (Australia) organized an internship for 16 final –year students of radiography, radiation therapy and nuclear medicine from the University of Newcastle. The course lasted 12 days (from January 21st to February 1st, 2019) with main activities including case discussions, Australian lecturers' workshops, and practice programs under the guidance of doctors and lecturers of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and some hospitals at Can Tho City.
