CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY 40 YEARS-“A JOURNEY”
Over 40 years of construction and development of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, by the leadership of the Party Committee and Rector Board, with cooperation and support from domestic and international partners, and the efforts of all staff and students, the University had moved greatly for the better in quality as well as quantity of services and made many memorable achievements.

WORKSHOP SHARING INFORMATION ABOUT GLOBAL UGRAD SCHOLARSHIP “U.S, UGRAD AND US”
On October 20th, 2019, Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office - Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy associated with Medical English Speaking Club of Medicine Faculty organized a workshop on “U.S, UGRAD and Us” for students of the university. This is one in series of activities purposing to help students getting access to information about scholarship of studying abroad or exchanging students programs of Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office. The workshop attracted more than 100 attendants.

THE VIETMD ORGANIZATION SHARED EXPERIENCES IN MEDICAL LEARNING FOR CANTHO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY’S STUDENTS
On October 8th 2019, Scientific Research and International Cooperation Office, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), organized a talk show with topic “How To Study Well In Medical School” for CTUMP’s students within the framework of the cooperation between CTUMP and VietMD organization with more than 160 attendants.

CONDUCTING CONTINUOUS TRAINING COURSE ABOUT “MODERN UPDATES IN WOUND MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENT” AND AWARDING SCHOLARSHIP FOR POOR STUDENTS WITH VIETMD ORGANIZATION
Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the VietMD Organization, United States, had initiated a collaborative program. From September 14th to 15th, 2019, a continuous training course was conducted on the topic of “Modern updates in wound management and treatment”, took place at the conference hall of the Nursing and Medical Technology Faculty, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

From 28th to 30th September 2019, Faculty of Pharmacy from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy hold the workshop with topic “Guide to read and interpret an antibiogram and treatment of severe infections” at Pharmacy Faculty Hall.

A MEDICINE STUDENT OF CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY WITH THE DELEGATION OF VIETNAMESE JUVENILES AT THE THIRD ASEAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT COUNCIL UNION IN THAILAND
From 03/09/2019 to 07/09/2019, the delegation of Vietnamese juveniles participated in the third ASEAN University Student Council Union (AUSCU) which was held in Bangkok, Thailand. One of the delegate is Pham Dac Phu who is a student from class medicine E, course 42 of Can Tho University of Medicines and Pharmacy. After being chosen to be a delegate for the second conference in Singapore last year, student Pham Dac Phu continued to coordinate this year’s conference as coordinator of country.

CTUMP STUDENTS ATTENDING SUMMER COURSE AT AHMAD DAHLAN UNIVERSITY (INDONESIA)
From August 11th to August 16th 2019, 05 students from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP) including Pham Dac Phu from Medicine class E – course 42, Nguyen Hoang Phuc from Medicine class D – course 42, Huynh Nhat Duy from Medicine class M - course 43, Le Trong Nghia from Medicine class B – course 41 and Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Thao from Pharmacy class – course 41 attended a summer course at AHMAD DAHLAN University (UAD) on: “Moving from passive to experiential learning”.
