MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN FACULTY OF ODONTO - STOMATOLOGY, CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY AND SAVEETHA DENTAL COLLEGE, SAVEETHA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL AND TECHNICAL SCIENCES FROM INDIA
On September 19th, 2022, the Faculty of Odonto - Stomatology, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy signed a Memorandum of Understanding cooperation with Saveetha Dental College, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Science (SIMATS) from India. This event opened the cooperation in training, exchange of high-quality human resources, scientific research contributing to the development of improving the position and capacity of the two units between the two countries.

SIGNING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) CEREMONY BETWEEN CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY AND NEXUS COMPANY FROM INDIA

The 60th-anniversary celebration of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam - Laos
On September 4th, the Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association in Can Tho City together with city departments and agencies solemnly held a meeting to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos (September 5th, 1962 - September 5th, 2022), 45 years of signing the Vietnam - Laos Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation and Vietnam - Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2022.

SEMINAR ON ELECTRICAL AND CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS OF NEUROMUSCULAR AND NEURO-OPHTHALMIC DISEASES
Intending to improve and update several knowledge of electromyography, peripheral nerves and neuro-ophthalmic diseases, strengthen international cooperation, study and academic exchange about professional knowledge, the Department of Neurology and the Department of Physiology collaborated to successfully organize the University-Level Seminar Program and Continuing Training: “Electrical and clinical diagnosis of neuromuscular and neuro-ophthalmic diseases” for practitioners and doctors specializing in Neurology, Ophthalmology, Functional Exploration in and out of the Mekong Delta.

Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy has ranked at No. 51 in Vietnam and debuted in the top 5 medical universities in Vietnam and the top 500 universities in South-East Asia.

“Preparation for studying abroad” Program
On August 27th, 2022, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy successfully organized an online sharing program with the topic “Preparation for studying abroad” with speakers Ph.D. DANG Phi Cong and Dr. NGUYEN Tu Thai Bao. During the program, speakers delivered sharings about their experience and pieces of advice in orientation for studying oversea to more than 50 lecturers, students, and postgraduates of the University, who are interested in this topic.

THE WORKSHOP WITH ASSOC. PROF. DUONG VAN TUYEN FROM TAIPEI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, TAIWAN
From August 10th to August 12th 2022, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy honorably welcomed and hosted the workshop with the presence of Assoc. Prof. DUONG Van Tuyen from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan. The event was aimed at disseminating knowledge about scientific research, and international publication as well as scholarship opportunities in Taiwan for the lecturers and students of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, to exchange and cooperate with the Taipei Medical University, Taiwan.
