WORKING SESSION BETWEEN CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY AND THE DELEGATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY VIETNAM INSTITUTE
On February 18th, 2025, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy had a working session with the delegation of the University of Sydney Vietnam Institute. This is an important activity within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the University of Sydney and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the fields of education and health.

CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY WELCOMES THE DELEGATION FROM CHUNG SHAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, TAIWAN
On February 11th, 2025, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a working meeting and welcomed the delegation from Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan. The meeting included two sessions: the opening ceremony of the second Master's program in Hospital Management and a discussion session on potential collaboration in nursing training and research.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy organized a gathering to express New Year wishes and give lucky money to international students and those unable to return home for Tet holiday. This annual activity aims to support students from less privileged backgrounds while strengthening bonds and cultural exchange between international and local students during Viet Nam’s traditional Tet holiday

CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY SIGNING A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH VINMEC HEALTHCARE SYSTEM - VINUNI UNIVERSITY
On September 19, 2024, at VinMec International General Hospital, the signing ceremony between Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and VinMec Healthcare System - VinUni University in Hanoi occurred. The ceremony was honored to have the participation of Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Minh Phuong, Chairwoman of the Council of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy; Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Trung Kien, Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Thanh Tan, Vice Rector/Deputy Director of the Hospital; Dr. LAI Van Nong, Specialist grade II, PhD, Director of the University Hospital; Dr. VO Pham Minh Thu, PhD, Deputy Director of the Hospital/Secretary of the University Council and leaders of units belonging to and affiliated to Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

On September 21th, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a Conference to summarize the 2023-2024 academic year, deploy key tasks and training plans for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Conference reviewed the outstanding achievements of the past academic year and set out strategic directions for the new academic year, with the theme “Enhance resources to meet development strategies in the new period”.

On March 12th, 2024, at Vietnam National Institute of Maritime Medicine – Hai Phong City, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (represented by Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Minh Phuong – Chairwoman of the University Council and Assoc. Prof. TRAN Viet An – Vice Rector) and Vietnam National Institute of Maritime Medicine (represented by Ms.TRAN Thi Quynh Chi, Head of the Institute) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on comprehensive cooperation between the two units.
